Special Screening presented by Teton Gravity Research

STOKE THE FIRE

On Friday, October 22, join Teton Gravity Research for a night of hype as we bring our new ski and snowboard film to the big screen at the Lark Theatre drive-in. There will be prize giveaways from our partners at Sierra Nevada, The North Face, Atomic, Volkl, Yeti and more. Plus, everyone will have a shot at our tour grand prizes, including a trip to our hometown Jackson Hole.

About the film: TGR’s 26th annual film release “Stoke The Fire” explores our athlete’s evolution within skiing and the pure joy that stems from that process. Stoke manifests itself in different ways – for many it comes from committing to a new world, a lifestyle, and the friendships that blossom from that commitment. The choice to enter this world is a spark, and with every new experience the fire grows. With more knowledge comes more exploration, both physically and mentally, that helps us to reignite and keep that stoke burning; to drive us to push further and further into our exploration with nature and the limits of our own abilities. While the answers we find are different for everyone, the pursuit of this evolution is something sacred, the pursuit is what stokes the fire.

THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Synopsis: The film follows the misadventures of Jack Skellington, Halloweentown’s beloved pumpkin king, who has become bored with the same annual routine of frightening people in the “real world.” When Jack accidentally stumbles on Christmastown, all bright colors and warm spirits, he gets a new lease on life — he plots to bring Christmas under his control by kidnapping Santa Claus and taking over the role. But Jack soon discovers even the best-laid plans of mice and skeleton men can go seriously awry.
