Susan Gundunas (Soprano)
With over 50 roles to her credit, critically acclaimed soprano Susan Gundunas is an active performer in opera, musical theater, and concert and recital repertoire. Principal Resident Artist, San Jose Opera, Phantom of the Opera, Hamburg, Germany, San Jose Stage, Cinnabar Theater, Monterey Opera, Masterworks Chorale, Schola Cantorum, Berkeley Symphony.

Amanda Johnson (Mezzo Soprano)
A recent arrival from NYC, Amanda sang Off Broadway at City Center Encores, and has performed musical theater from Stephen Sondheim to Rodgers and Hammerstein, with appearances around the country at Virginia Rep, Atlanta Theater of the Stars, Rocky Mountain Rep, Naples Dinner Theater, Jekyll Island Musical Theater, among many others. Locally, she is a featured player in musicals at 42nd Street Moon.

Adam Flowers (Tenor)
Adam has performed principal tenor roles in opera houses throughout North America, Hawaii and Japan. As a five-year Artist-in Residence for Opera San Jose, he performed over 32 roles. He is currently a member of the San Francisco Opera Chorus, and the tenor section leader at San Francisco’s St. Ignatius Church Choir. Other appearances, Festival Opera, Lamplighters Music Theater, UC Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, West Bay Opera, Pocket Opera, North Bay Opera. Adam appeared on the stage of the Lark in Bernstein on Broadway two years ago.

Chris Vettel (Baritone)
Four seasons with Opera Company of Boston, Chris has worked on the theatrical, operatic and concert stages, including Broadway tours of Annie and Sunset Boulevard, regional theater in forty-three states and ten European countries. Bay area credits include Theaterworks, ACT, San Jose Stage, Sacramento Theater Company, and soloist with Cleveland Opera, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Boston Symphony in the final concert conducted by Leonard Bernstein.

Michael McCarty (Baritone)
Michael has performed in many venues including choral, opera, cabaret, and musicals. He has performed in local wineries and theaters for 18 years with The Gala Singers. For 25 seasons, Michael appeared in The Bracebridge Dinners each December in Yosemite National Park. Local theater performances at Novato Theater Company’s Guest Artist Series; multiple productions with Fantasy Forum Actors Ensemble, Contra Costa Musical Theatre and with Center REPertory Company.

Barry Koron has accompanied or worked on productions for most of the major performing arts organizations in the Bay Area and Broadway touring companies. Berkeley Rep, Dickens Faire, New Conservtory Theater Center, American Musical Theater of San Jose, Lamplighters, Contra Costa Civic Theater, and for many Shorenstein-Hays Nederlander national tours. Accompanied Bernadette Peters, Brain Stokes Mitchell, Patti Lapone and Michael Crawford in Concert.

South PacificPLUS! ON THE BIG SCREEN: Beautifully remastered version of the classic romantic musical film, SOUTH PACIFIC. 

The film was based on the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific, which in turn is based on James A. Michener’s short-story collection Tales of the South Pacific. Directed by Joshua Logan and nominated for three Academy Awards, the movie stars Rossano Brazzi, Mitzi Gaynor, John Kerr and Ray Walston in the leading roles with Juanita Hall as Bloody Mary, the part that she had played in the original stage production.

Join our “Audience Chorus” to sing-along with the gorgeous voices on screen in favorites like Some Enchanted Evening, Bali Ha’i, Bloody Mary, I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair, There is Nothing Like a Dame…and more!  Sing out, Louise!! Conducted by our talented cast of Broadway singers!
